Her First Art Work

I never realized that my K is already interested in crayons and coloring stuff. Until we attended a party over the weekend and all the kids were given art kits. Here is K’s first ever art work (just had to share, stage mommy in the making here :))

I do not mind the imperfection, for obvious reasons but knowing that my DD enjoyed holding the crayons and coloring the sheet is enough for me. Now my plan is to print more pages or even just get the scratch paper stack that has been waiting at my ILs for K’s use! And I also plan to make a quick trip to the bookstore to buy her more coloring stuff. Yay!

ABC of Colors

I got this from my friend Zanne’s blog. I found it amusing that I just had to share it here:

I am not exactly a fan of big words, I try to keep things as simple as possible. Though I consider myself having a wide vocabulary (thanks to my HS Grammar teacher), I had to google what Cerulean means. Surprise, surprise, it’s a shade of Blue! But who knows, I just might teach this ABC to Klaire, because I dream that someday she will be a Spelling Champ! ;) And wouldn’t it be a riot to hear kindergarten students recite this?! Teehee!
